If it is hit, the lightning current will cause mechanical, electrical and thermal damage, which will cause serious damage to the LED screen and even cause a fire. 1. Lightning protection measures for LED screen
Install lightning rods on the supporting structure of the LED display (outdoor), indoor LED displays or LED displays with tall buildings next to them, you don’t need to consider installing lightning rods.
2. Counterattack against steel structures.
Connect the rigid structure with the shell of the ED display, equipotential, and ground. The grounding resistance is generally required to be less than 10 ohms. If the resistance does not meet the requirements, an additional artificial grounding grid is required. The lightning arrester should also be well-grounded.
3. For the lightning current induced on the power line.
Install a single-phase or three-phase power surge protector on the power line. The cross-sectional area of the link line of the phase line should not be less than 10mm square, and the cross-sectional area of the connecting ground wire should not be less than 16mm square.
4. For the lightning current induced on the signal line.
Install a signal surge protector on the signal line. The signal arrester depends on the signal interface of the system. If it is a network cable, install a network signal arrester, and a serial interface, install a DB9 interface arrester, etc. The cross-sectional area of the connecting ground wire cannot be less than 1.5mm square.

First of all, it is necessary to regularly check the firmness of the joint. If there is any looseness, pay attention to timely adjustment, re-reinforcement or re-hoisting.
Secondly, according to the environment where the LED screen is located, insect bites should be avoided, and rodenticide should be placed if necessary.
Again, when installing the LED screen, avoid looking directly at ultraviolet rays and avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
Finally, the grounding socket must be installed correctly to avoid mistakes in the transfer of zero and live wires. If the power goes out frequently, check the power supply carefully.
